About David 2017-12-07T14:34:38+00:00

Hi, I’m David

Welcome to The Ethical Organiser – my personal and professional life-lifting service. Based upon the principles of balance, commitment, insight and evolution, I believe that my revolutionary coaching packages can provide you with the tools necessary to strip back the gack from your life – giving you the freedom to pursue your dreams unhindered.

I love engaging with people one-to-one and I’m wholly committed to the work required for individuals to manifest their innermost selves. In this spirit, I will always approach our collaborative endeavours with patience, empathy and a deeply held respect for your own unique character traits and personal disposition. I will, however, challenge you to reconsider aspects of your life and thinking wherever I feel that they are detrimental to your progress.

In this way, we will carve out and stride towards a truer manifestation of your internal vision. My approach is direct and uncompromising – and though it may be painful to take a hammer to structures you’ve erected to shield yourself from doubt and criticism, I will ensure that this process leaves you stronger, wiser and better prepared to face the world beyond.

So, why me?

Good question – you want to know that your money’s being well spent – and even more importantly, that the road that I guide you down is taking you in the right direction! So, what makes me think that I’m the right coach for you?

Well, I have extensive experience within a vast array of different industries, sectors and occupations. In 2009 I obtained a degree in computing, and then in 2013 (whilst working), a masters in business management. I held a number of responsible positions within the steel industry, various private limited companies, a martial arts school and an environmental charity.

But in 2007, everything had started to changed. Catalysed by a series of chance meetings and incendiary life experiences, I began to question what I was doing with my life, and why I was pursuing the course I was.

I realised that in spite of all that I’d achieved, up until that point I had been treading water. Prompted by my family, my education, the media and an unspoken social contract that I didn’t always agree with – I had been employing my skills to carve out an existence based upon other people’s values and expectations. When I examined my life closely, the fruits of my labours tasted lifeless and insipid. Something had to give – and I concluded that that something was me.

New Beginnings

Driven by a determination to embrace a new modality – one defined by purpose, and the desire to make an authentic contribution to the wider world – I faced my fears to embark on a bolder path. I founded the Sustainable Housing project and The Local Veg Box C.I.C in the city of Manchester; deploying my organisational skills in the service of a greater good.

In time these grew into thriving, collaborative social ventures that helped many people in the communities they served. I trained intensively in the martial arts, devoured materials related to psychology, self-development and spiritual expansion – and truly committed to my creative development for the first time since my early teens.

I have continued in this vein ever since – always keeping one eye out for new avenues of exploration, whilst digging deep for intuitive nourishment. I won’t lie to you – it’s been a rocky road – the terrain I’ve traversed has often been challenging and unstable; and if you’re to realise your potential, you’ll likely find the same – but as a product of this process, I have achieved a deep sense of focus and humility. I became acutely aware of the beauty apparent in all experiences, and observed the power our perception has to manifest our greatness when successfully harnessed.

Your own journey won’t be an easy one – nothing worth achieving ever is – but if you’re ready to take to the road (or are already moving along it) I believe that I can offer a stabilising hand and point a finger towards brighter horizons. What My Clients Say

David is really good with what he does.
He has been helping me with my project management system, policies and procedures, determining priorities, training and hiring staff, brainstorming future directions, and has been an excellent sound board.
Highly recommended !

Eyal Matsliah, Intimate Power

David is a rare jem! He brings such a down to earth approach to what can seem a daunting tangled mess. He guides gently and steadily to the places I try to hide from myself, and then probes fearlessly until I crack. Still then he’s there to hold and encourage until the illumination inherent in my blind spots come into view.

A course of sessions with David is not an easy ride, but a very fruitful one.
Practically, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience in systems and organisational tools that have helped me to focus on the real work I do, knowing that everything is running smoothly in the background.
